  • The Virginia W.P.A. Historical Inventory Project of 1937

    During the Great Depression of the 1930's the Virginia W.P.A. (Works Progress Administration) conducted a survey of historical sites in the state of Virginia. The following items give a unique insight into Shenandoah County during that time. It is not known how many of these sites are still standing, although it is certain that some are not.
