Physical Description

This two-story "L" shaped weatherboarded log house with metal hipped roof has no chimneys. There are windows with twelve 6x8 panes and windows with four 14x20 panes and plain solid shutters. The porch has plain solid square posts.

There are eight large rooms with eight foot ceilings. The stairway is open string with plain balusters. The walls are wood partitions with papered plaster and the floors have wide boards in the old part and narrow boards in the newer part.
