This two and one half story log house with gabled metal roof and plain weatherboarding looks very old. There are two brick chimneys on the north and east side of the house. There are sixteen windows with fifteen 8x10 panes and no shutters.
The house has one large and six small rooms with nine foot ceilings. The walls are wainscoted with twelve by eighteen inch boards, babitted. The doors are peculiarly paneled, being five panel three cross doors with iron butt hinges and china knobs. The house has a two story porch with small square posts. The floors are extra wide boards.
