This is an oblong, two-story log house with metal roof and one chimney in the center. The weatherboarding is plain. There ere eleven windows having twelve 8x10 panes. A porch extends across the front of the house. The entrance is a four-panel door.

There are seven rooms and the ceiling is eight and one half feet height. There is a straight box staircase. The cellar is plain stone. The four-panel doors have plain iron locks and hinges. The walls are papered or painted. The floors are of wide boards. The house has not been hurt architecturally by remodeling.
