- Hi Patti, I looked at some of the paid genealogy
sites that I belong to and the only Ohlheiser that I
came up with as a possible relative to your Frances was
a Joseph who married an Eva. Joseph was also from Baden.

- I am searching for information concerning my
greatgrandfather, John SCHOENHEINZ. John was born May 5,
1830 in Wurtenburg, Germany. He migrated to Grand Forks,
ND where he received his naturalization papers. He also
owned 160 acres of land near that community. He married
Theresa FLECK, born May 10, 1832 in Bohemia. From Grand
Forks, they moved to LaCrosse, WI. John is buried in
LaCrosse. If anyone has any information on these people,
I surely would like to hear from you. Thanks.

- Looking for descendants of Lawrence and Mary Kennedy
of Grand Forks, especially Katherine Kennedy Colbert and
Johanna Kennedy McAlpine. Have information on family of
Johanna Kennedy McAlpine to share. Johanna was married
to William McAlpine in 1915 and died in 1918, leaving
two small children--William and Mary Kathryn. Mary
Kathryn lived for a short time after Johanna's death
with her aunt Kate before being taken to live with her
paternal grandparents in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

- William McKay was b.in Caithness, Scotland about
1825. He farmed in Nova Scotia, coming to the USA in
1882. He lived with his son James and Jame's wife,Agnes
in Grand Forks, ND. William died there in 1900 and is
buried in the Grand Forks Memorial Cemetery along with
James, Agnes and their son, Chester and his wife,
Lillian who may be from Fargo. William had 3 other sons
who probably lived in ND or MN. They are Alexander,
Donald and William. Would love to make contact with any
of the descendants of this man. Don Beeler, (researching
the McKay family from Earltown , Nova Scotia).
