Looking for any information on SHANE. The family came to Grand Forks and Walsh County abt. 1880 from Renfrew, Ontario, Canada. So did the BAYNE (sometimes spelled BAIN in some census) family. Many SHANE and BAYNE children married each other. John Alexander SHANE (b. 1861)was married to a women named Ellen (last name unknown) who died several weeks after their second son was born. Their first child was Alfred Alexander SHANE, b. 1891, the second, William Ernest SHANE, b. 1893. What was Ellen's maiden name? She is buried in Ardoch Cemetery. Would like to hear from any other SHANE researcher, whose family lived in Grand Forks and Walsh Counties from 1880 onward..

I am looking for documents of the marriage of Albert Morkve to Anna Enokson/Erickson 13 August 1880. I am having trouble ascertaining my grandmothers true last name, as it was changed when she came to this country. I am hoping documentation of the wedding will give me some guidance..
