FITZSIMMONS, MURPHY posted by Tom Fitzsimmons on Sunday, October 10, 1999

I understand that a MURPHY, perhaps named James, was married to Ellen (Nellie) FITZSIMMONS in Clermont, Iowa in 1901. I understand that MURPHY owned a livery/cartage business in Grand Forks, and he hauled freight and passengers from the riverboats on the Red River. Does anyone know anything about this MURPHY?

Looking for family of Minnie LATRACE, married Joseph Henry EVANS circa 1890. Two sons were born of this union: Thomas Elmer b. 7 Feb. 1892, and James Allen b. 17 Dec. 1895, Manvel, ND. Family may have separated. Eventually moved to Grandview, Manitoba, where Minnie died 18 Dec. 1905 at the age of 36, of tuberculosis. Minnie was probably a nickname, but it is all I have.
