- JOHNSON,
SASCH posted by Karen Andrews on Sunday, April

- I'm researching the John Johnson (b: 1818-Illinois?)
and Anna Bertha family. One of their sons: Peter Jonas
Johnson (b: 1856) married Barbara Sasch in 1879; likely
in the Ravina, Illinois area. Peter and Barbara moved to
Euclid, in Polk Co., Minn. Their children: Anna "Laura",
Anna "Clara", August, Samuel, Herbert, Ida (my
grandmother), and Eliz. "Bessie". Am interested in the
Illinois & Polk County Mn. story; why the the
Johnsons were there, for how long, other relatives in
that area at the time, etc??? The Peter and Barbara
Johnson family moved to the Rainy River, Ont. district
by 1904 and we do have some good records and pictures in
this regard. Willing to share and hoping to learn about
the ancestors, parents and siblings of Peter Johnson!
Any relationship to Governor John Albert Johnson of Mn??
Have some unidentified old professional photos taken in
