These are abstracts from Equity Court Records of Frederick County, Maryland; many times providing family connections for two or three generations of the decendant and, sometimes, on persons not mentioned on the docket. Most of these records are of property owners who died without a Will; however, some had a Will, but encountered problems. Most of the listings are quite informative and the cases brought before the judge consisted of sworn testimony. Each one holds a story. Perhaps you will find one connected to your research.
