APPOLD, surviving trustee vs Frederick & Pennsylvania Line Railroad Company and the Pennsylvania Railroad Company - Report of Sales - Equity #6356 - Feb 1895 LAND - Railway line, 28 miles in length, from Frederick City to the MD-PA line in direction of Littlestown, PA; in both Frederick and Carroll Counties; connects with the Hanover and York Railroad Company near Kingsdale, PA at the border of MD and PA. Includes rails, buildings, right of ways, bridges, depot and station buildings. To Frederick & Pennsylvania Line Railroad Company by John LOATS, George F. WEBSTER and J. APPOLD (of Baltimore), trustees of the National Mechanics Bank of Baltimore. KOONTZ, a minor (will be 18 in Nov 1897) LAND - Lot on east side of North Market St, in Frederick City, between Third and Fourth Sts. To Edward S. KOONTZ from his father Edward KOONTZ & w/ Isabella E. in Dec 1895 [JLJ-11, 449]. (Provision of life estate to his father & wife) Deeds were made by Edward S. KOONTZ to Eddie E. HARN and from him to Alice V. KOONTZ (w/o Edward S.) and her son, Charles E. KOONTZ. It was claimed this was to defraud Mary C. KOONTZ. Equity #4452 - Mary C. KOONTZ vs Edward S. KOONTZ - Proceeding to collect alimony, long overdue, from her ex-husband. Divorce decreee was passed on 29 Mar 1879, granting her $3 a month in alimony; however, nothing was ever paid.
