Equity Court Abstracts

Book TLMc-1 - 1865-1915

Frederick County, Maryland

This book of Equity Court Records of Frederick County, Maryland, was accidentally found in the vaults of FamilySearch. This book seems to have gotten lost from the other books. In addition, it starts in 1865 to 1873, then jumps to 1883, then 1894, then 1902. It seems other books were used in between these periods. However, these records may help to fill in some blanks for some families.

The original pages were copied individually and are extremely faded. It required me to copy each page and darken the handwriting and lighten the background, then save each page into a pdf file. The pages then had to be merged into one pdf file and trimmed. It was a very time-consuming project, but was required in order to be able to read the pages. Upon completion, the data will be a treasure for these families.
