Death of Mrs. Spangler
Mrs. Hannah Spangler died Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Dillard W. Sowers, near Camp Creek. She was about 89 years old and had been
an invalid for several years. She was helpless, blind and could not talk as
her tongue was paralyzed and had been for some time.
Her funeral was preached at Pine Creek church on Friday
by Elds. Asa Bowman and W.H. Naff, after which she was laid to rest by the
side of her husband, who had preceded her some fifty years ago.
She leaves two living sons, Eld. S.G. Spangler, and
Abraham Spangler, and two daughters, Mrs. Dillard Sowers and Mrs. Wm. Proffit, all of this county. She also leaves a number
of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host of other
relatives to mourn her death.
We extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
