Shelba worked as a nursing assistant for many years. She enjoyed sitting
with several elderly community members and up until the past few weeks was
canning and working puzzles with Agatha Austin. Shelba loved flowers,
canning, and helping others, especially children and the elderly. She had a
wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude. She left behind letters for
her family, journals and little notes of encouragement throughout the
house. Her church family at Little River Baptist has been a constant support
throughout her illness and she loved them dearly. Her faith will continue
to be a witness through the lives she has touched.
Please join us in a celebration of Shelba's life on her birthday, Saturday,
November 1, 2014 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with Rev. Allan Vass and
