WEBSTER, YOUNG posted by Trudy Spanier on Thursday, December 2, 1999

David YOUNG b. Aug 16, 1800 Canada West died in Harrison Co, Iowa 1885 wife Sarah Ann WEBSTER (aka Sally) b. Aug 1809 New Hampshire. David YOUNG was some relative of Brigham YOUNG, and was with the group out of Nauvoo, into Putnam County, Indiana and on to Iowa. He stayed in Iowa, not going on to Utah because he did not believe in polygamy. I have not been able to find either his parents or siblings, and would like to find the marriage. Some of the Mormons were in Kirtland. Can anyone in Lake County help me find David YOUNG? Thanks.

ATWOOD, CARPENTER posted by Kathy Atwood on Thursday, December 9, 1999

I am interested in finding out information on the family of Samuel N. ATWOOD and his wife Agnes R. (nee CARPENTER). They were married in 1865 in Lake Co. They are listed in the 1870 census of Willoughby Twp. I know of at least three children born in Lake Co.: Nellie (bc 1867), Charles (bc 1869), and William T. (1872). Agnes died in Middlefield, OH in 1923. Samuel's fate is unknown, but I do know that he was a sailor. I'd be interested in comparing info with any descendants or anyone who has info on this family.

WARNER family information needed. Brothers Francis, Lambert, and Elmer WARNER were born in Cambria County, PA. in the 1890s. Their parents were John Phillip WARNER and Emma Elizabeth DODSON of the Cresson area of Cambria County PA. There were two sisters living in the Cambria Co. area also. Any information would be very helpful. Thank You.
