I am trying to locate information about a BROCKWAY that lived in Kirtland after the Civil War. I believe he fought in the battle of Antietam where he was wounded and finished the war in a Confederate prisoner of war camp. (Andersonville?). I believe he received a pension and a land-grant in Kirtland for his service. I'd appreciate any help in locating information about BROCKWAY. Thanks.

The Scocial Security Death Index says a Ray Otis DUNBAR died in Willoughby, Lake Co, Ohio on November 19, 1989. I am trying to find out if he is the son of Arthur and Minnie DUNBAR. Arthur and Minnie were married in Cortland, New York in 1890 and all of their children were born in Homer, New York. They moved to Akron and then to Cleveland. Arthur and Minnie died in Cleveland, 6 days apart in 1943. The Ray Otis DUNBAR that was born in Homer, New York and the one who died in Willoughby have the same birth date, but I need to be sure. I thank anyone who could help in this matter.

Josiah JORDAN, Lake County, Concord, Ohio 1832-1910 - I have found my ggrandfather in the 1850 Census, but I cannot find him anywhere else. Are there any land records that show him owning land? In 1850 he was 18 years old. Any birth records? His father was Thomas JORDAN, Sr. and his mother was Eliza QUIGGLE (Betsy Quiggle). He possibly moved to Minnesota prior to 1876.

I'm searching for any information on Thomas Rockwell PETERSON, and wife Catharine MACLAUTHRAN (MCLAUTHRAN, LUTHERAN, LONGLIN, LAUGHLIN) They were married in Lake Co., Ohio on Oct. 25, 1862. Rockwell was born Sep. 17, 1830 in New York, and Catharine was born Jan. 1, 1844 in Canada. They had three sons: William, George E., and Thomas - and one daughter Anna Eliza. The family moved back and forth between Erie Co., Penn. and Lake Co., Ohio. They lived in Madison twp., Lake Co., OH in the 1880 Census. Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. I would appreciate any information available on Thomas MURRAY born approx. early to mid 1920's. He was the child of John Edgar "Ed" MURRAY and Catherine Elizabeth CONNOR. I'm not sure as to when they married. Their first child John Edgar Murray, II was born Feb.23, 1918. At a point in their childhood, both children ended up in Painesville in an orphanage. I am searching for the parents and family of Mary BALDWIN, b. 6 Nov 1760. She married Isaac MARTIN of Woodbury, CT on 17 Nov 1779. They moved to Jefferson, Schoharie Co. NY and later to Madison, Lake County Ohio where both died. Isaac died 6 Nov 1832 and Mary died 13 Mar 1833. They are buried in Middle Ridge Cemetery.
