MEDHURST posted by Derek Medhurst on Tuesday, September 14, 1999

Frederick MEDHURST, born 30 Dec 1883 in Ide Hill, Kent, England. Believed to have moved to Ohio around beginning 20th century, & family memories suggest he may have been a prison warder, but contact lost in 1920's. Has not been traced on shipping lists, nor census. May be the person of same name and DOB shown in records as dying on 10 November 1966 in Lake County Memorial West Hospital, Willoughby, Ohio, even though birthplace doesn't tie up. Was he the same person? Information wanted to add some knowledge of that family line. Many thanks to anyone who can help.
