21 Mar 1835, Virginia Herald, pg. 3, col. 5:
"LAND for Sale,
INTENDING to move to the South, we will sell, on accommodating terms our LAND, lying in Caroline county, about a mile from the Rappahannock Academy; by late survy, it contains THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY ACRES. The said Land, for the fertility of its soil, and its healthy situation, combine to render it worthy the attention of those who wish to purchase. There are two Dwelling House on the place, which, by slight repairs, can be made comfortable—and a large Orchard, containing a choice selection of Fruit Trees. The terms made known by applying to RICHARD B. STERNE, or to NICHOLAS S. PURVIS March 21, 1835"
