The President, Directors and Company of the Bank of Washington, Patton and Butcher, George Brent’s Trustees, The President Director, and Company of the Bank of the Metropolis, Barron and Mason, and others.

The defendants O. P. Findley, The President, Directors and Company of the Bank of Potomac, John D. Brown, Charles Bennett, Josias [?] R. Davis, Joseph Janney, John Withers, The President, Directors and Company of the Bank of Columbia. Benjamin Withers, administrator of John Markham, deceased, Leonard Cooke and John Clare, trading under the firm of Cooke and Clare, John Roberts, The President, Directors and Company of the Bank of Washington, Patton and Butcher, George Brent’s Trustees, The President, Directors and Company of the Bank of the Metropolis, and Thomas Mason, one of the firm of Barron and Mason, not having entered their appearance and given security according to the act of Assembly and the rules of this Court, and it appearing by satisfactory evidence that they are not inhabitants of this commonwealth: It is ordered That the said Defendants do appear here on the first day of the next term and answer the bill of the Plaintiffs; and that a copy of this order to Forthwith inserted in some newspaper published in the town of Fredericksburg, for two months successively, and posted at the front door of the Court House in the said town.
