Will of Clarrissa Million Harding

In the name of God amen, I Clarkey Harding of the County of Stafford and
Commonwealth of Virginia, being weak in body but of sound mind and memory do
make and ordain this my last will and testament.  hereby revoking all former
wills by me made.  Imprimis.  It is my will I desire that after my mortal
remains are committed to the earth in a decent christian manner, my just
debts shall be paid -2ndly- It is my will that the heirs of my son Elijah
shall not recieve the fifty dollars which I had apromed (?) to pay them, as a
free gift, by an obligation now in the posseion  of my son Enoch, nor any
part thereof; and instead of the said fifty dollars, they shall receive the
portion hereinafter bequeathed them. 3rdly.I give and bequeath my maid
servant Fenton and her Julune increase to my son Mark for induring his
natural life, for the exclusive use & benefit of his children lawfully
begotten -and after the death of my said son Mark,  the said servant maid
shall belong to his surviving children and to their heirs forever - 4thly I
desire that all my property of every discription be sold to the highest
bidder at public auction, on a credit of twelve months, and the procceds of
such sale, when collected, be devided among my following named children and
grandchildren in manner following, to wit:  The said proceeds are to be
divided into ten equal parts- and my son John is to take one part:, Cuthbert
another part, Enoch a third part , Frances a fourth part, the heirs of the
body of my son Elijah, shall share & share alike a fifth part, Selah a sixth
part, Nancy a seventh part, Adah a eigth part, Lewis a ninth part  and Mark
the tenth part--It is of course my wish that my maid servant herein bequeath
to my son Mark should not be sold by my Executor:  And I also direct that my
son Lewis shall take his choice of one of my homes in ______to the part
herein before bequearted to him and have the same to his use forever- Lastly
I constitute and apoint my son Mark executer to my last will and
testament-witnes my hand and seal this 22nd day April one thousand eight
hundred and twenty six.
