PUBLIC MEETING. The following named gentlemen are requested to meet at the law office of Wm. A. Little, Esq., in Fredericksburg, on the first Saturday in August, to take into consideration the formation of a joint stock company for the purchase of one of the bridges connecting Fredericksburg with Stafford. As this is important to the people at large, a full attendance is requested:

Lee, Dr. Martin, R. A. Gray, of Falmouth; W. A. Little, A. K. Philips, W. P. Conway. L. O. Magrath, Chas. Wallace, of Fredericksburg; H. G. Chesley, Milton Ferneyhough, Powhatan Moncure, George V. Moncure, of Aquia District; William Irvine, T. J. Skinker, J. G. Shelton, Jas. Briggs, of Hartwood District; Ludwell Harndon, C. M. Sterne [Charles Montgomery Sterne], C. J. French, Amos Jones, of Rockhill District."
