CAMERON, INGHAM, SANDERS posted by Mhw on 12/28/04

I could use some help on these families: CAMERON, SANDERS, INGHAM. I found a list of Camerons in a Ironton Cemetery. My Great grandmother was born in Sauk County, Wisconsin. Her name is Jessie M. Cameron. She was the daughter of Stewart Cameron and Ella Sanders. These families were in Sauk County from the 1860s to at least the 1890s. According to the 1880 Census. I found Stewart listed with his mother Anna Stephens Cameron and his brother Chester Cameron. I know that Stewarts father was Abram Cameron. Any information received would be greatly appreciated.

KREOFSKY, KREOWSKI posted by Robert K. Kreowski on 12/30/04

Adolf KREOWSKI, was born on February 20, 1879 at Baraboo, Sauk Co. to Robert KREOWSKI and Marie Boettcher, both of Germany. One year later during the 1880 Census there was a listing of a KREOFSKY family, Robert of Prussia as head of the household and Mary of Hamburg as spouse. Children were listed as William and Freda. In a probate record concerning Robert KREOFSKY who died at Freedom on January 25, 1894 there was mention of a son William born on Feb. 20, 1879 at Freedom (same birthdate as Adolf!!!). At this point it would be interesting to know,if Adolf KREOWSKI is the same as William KREOFSKY and Robert KREOWSKI is the same as Robert KREOFSKY of Prussia. Of course Robert"s place of origin in Prussia (Germany) would be extremely interesting. Thanks for your input. RKK

HART, KOONS posted by Vicki Pierce on 02/14/05

Is anyone researching the John HART and Mary KOONS family? They married in June 1873 in Sauk County. Mary is Peter and Martha KOONS daughter. The family moved to Los Angeles County, CA by 1900. They had 5 kids: Harry L, Earl W., Alma M., Edward W. and Alice H. I don't have death dates for John and Mary. I believe John died in CA between 1910 and 1920. Mary died after 1920 and may have moved back to WI.
