I am a descendant of Jacob and Salome Wintermantle who arrived in New York on the ship Hemisphere in 1856. They first settled in Sauk County, Wisconsin, town of Franklin.Supposedly 4 of their sons fought in the American Civil War. I have recors for Jacob, William, and Christian. I'm not sure about the fourth one. If there are other Wintermantles around I'd be very interested in exchanging information. I have some good stories and other things.

I am seeking information about Archibald Barker. I am a direct descendent. He was my G/G/Grandfather. I know so very little except that he came from Ireland, County Tyrone. My lineage goes to Archibald's son, Alexander, to his daugher Beatice, to my Mother, Sharon Flynn Englade. I know that Archibald married Sarah Jane Lamborn, but I don't know when and where. Together they had eight children, but I only know the name of seven. As mentioned earlier, Alexander was one. I don't know what happend to the remaining children. Any help or information would be appreciated.
