I am researching the history of my home in western New York and the original owners moved from here to Sauk in the 1860's.I am trying to find out where they are buried and if there is any information about the home they lived in in Sauk. Their names were Stephen and Naomi Bates, they originally lived in Connecticut and moved to Canandaigua (Hopewell) NY in 1795. They died in Sauk a year after they moved there about 1840 or so I believe. any information would be great.

Wondering if anyone has any info they can provide me on my roots. I've been looking into my geneology, and would like more info. I know that my family came from Pommern, Germany, I think in the 1850's, but nobody's 100% sure of that. The people that know our roots are since deceased. I have our family crest, but that's all I have to show for my roots. Please help!

Hello, I am searching for birth parents and 3 birth brothers of Charlotte Ann Werth born 06/24/1947 in Wauwatosa, WI. Looks like from the adoption papers that Charlotte was placed with the Lutheran Children's Friend Society about a month after her birth. She was told after becoming an adult that she had 3 older brothers. Two of them adopted by the same family and one to another. Adoption of Charlotte took place in Marathon County, WI to Butenhoff family in 1951. Charlotte looks to be of German decent and is now 56 years old. She was raised as an only child and all birth relatives are deceased. She has wanted to search for her birth family for years but did not know how. Any help from any branches of this family would be appreciated. The birth parents lost parental rights and their first names are not known. Thank you for your time.
