ALLEN, BISHOP, BOWEN posted by Eleanor Brotherton on 07/14/01

My gggg grandmother, Sally Allen Bishop, is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg,Wisc. I live in New York State and it is unlikely that I will get to Wisconsin. I was wondering if someone would be willing to take a picture of her tombstone and that of her daughter's and family I understand is nearby(Willard, Mary A.,Mary E. and Martha Bowen). Sally died 9 October, 1850 probably in or near Baraboo. Were there any newspaper in the area at that time that may have an obiturary for her. I know she was from Hartland,Vt, but have been unable to find her parents' names. She was married to Zebina Bishop. Thank you for any help that may be provided.

MOUBRAY, MOWBRAY, MUBRAY posted by Stephen King on 08/04/01

As I'm a researcher living in London, England, I'm wondering if anyone could possibly be helpful enough to supply me with the details from the 1855 (and 1860 ) census for Sauk County which concern a family of Mowbray/Mubray (and possibly Moubray !) there at the time. I think that Thomas Mowbray headed this family.I'd be pleased to help out by doing a return search in London records if anyone can help.
