PALMER, Marvin N.

Marvin N. Palmer, 63, who was president of the Alumni Association during the 1958 vote to change the name of Arizona State College to Arizona State University, died March 26, 1980, in his home. Mr. Palmer graduated from what is now ASU in 1938. He was captain of the football team and president of the Senior Class. Later he farmed in the Casa Grande area. Wife, Catherine; children Marvin Palmer and Mary T. LaFevers of Buckeye; brother, Robert of Casa Grande and Kenneth of Spokane, Ola Brookshire of Alhambra, CA and Louise Freeman of Florence; four grandchildren. Mass was in St. Mary's CHurch. Interment St. Francis Cemetery. 3/28/1980.

PALMER, William Roger

Chandler -- Services for William Roger Palmer, 64, a ranch worker who was born in Mesa, will be today in Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive. Mesa -- Irving T. Parkhurst, 94, who retired as president after 35 years with Farmers Bank in Walker, Iowa, died March 8, 1980, in his home. He was a member of the Masonic Shrine. William Howard Patterson, 68, died Jan. 20, 1980, in a Phoenix hospital. He moved here eight years ago and had been a laborer in steel production. Mr. Paxson, a Whiteriver native, was a laborer and a member of the White Mountain Apache Indian Tribe. POTUZAK, Nancy Rose

Nancy Rose Potuzak, 24, of 5125 N. 40th St., a membeer of the Arizona State University Symphony Orchestra, died of an illness Jan. 24, 1980, in Doctors Hospital. Miss Potuzak was graduated from Arcadia High School in 1973. She was a flutist in the band and was a member of the Theater Group and Arcadia Choral. As a violinist, she was concertmistress with the Phoenix High School Orchestra Symphonettes and the Youth Symphony. She was attending Arizona State University on a music scholarship and played one of the leads in the musical "Oklahoma." She would have received a degree in education in June. She was born in Prescott and attended Ingleside Elementary School in Phoenix. She was employed at the Magic Pan in Scottsdale. Survivors include her parents, Charles J. and Beverly H.
