Elsie Mae Pape, 88, died June 27, 1978, in Valley View Hospital. Miss Pape moved to Youngtown in 1957 from Omaha, Nebraska, where she had been a secretary for the John Deere Co. She had also been secretary for Youngtown Community Fund Board, a member of the Eastern Star Past Matrons Club and Youngtown Community Church. Lundberg Golden Door Chapel. 6/29/1978.

PARMENTER, Frank

Claypool -- Frank Parmenter, 85, died June 23, 1978, in Doctors Hospital in Phoenix. Born in Medina, Ohio, Mr. Parmenter moved to Arizona ten years ago from Laramie, Wyoming. He was formerly employed as a superintendent for the Monolith Cement Company and was a member of Laramie Lodge 3 A.F. and A.M., Shriner Knights Temple Alpha Chapter and Elks Lodge in Laramie. Survivors include his wife, Susan; stepchildren, Howard Doner and Marjorie Kroenlein; a brother; a sister and two step-grandchildren. Services and burial were in Wyoming. Mabel C. Patterson, 83, of 5217 N. 32nd Ave., died Thursday, March 31, 1977, in the Medicenter. Survived by children, Elizabeth Miller and Walter; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister and a brother. Services in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Published in the Arizona Republic 4/2/1977.

Thell C. Patterson, 67, former owner of Sand Tanks, AZ, died Sat., April 22, 1978. He was a retail clerk for Texas Liquors and moved to Arizona from California 22 years ago. He was a member of the Elks and Retail Clerks Union. Wife, Viola; two stepsons, Robert W. Loyd, Superior, and Edwin Loyd, Phoenix; two brothers, Raymond and Ralph, both of Van Buren, Arkansas; and two grandchildren. 4/25/1978.
