Mr. Wallace worked in security for International Harverter Corp and was a member of the Retired Officers Association and the Eagles. He came to Arizona in 1969 from Ohio. WALLIS, Brad

Services for Brad Wallis, 22, a carpenter who died of auto accident injuries Oct. 5, 1980, in St. Joseph's Hospital, were in Paradise Chapel, 3934 E. Indian School. Mr. Wallis, 4311 E. Sells Drive, came here in 1965 from Canada. He was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church and as a student played in the bands at Kachina Elementary and Arcadia High Schools. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and served in the Army from 1954-1957. WEINMANN, E. S. John

E. S. John Weinmann, 63, a retired industrial engineer for Motorola, Inc., and owner of John's Jewelry-Clocks in Scottsdale until June, died Oct. 3, 1980, in Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Weinmann, of Phoenix, came to the Valley in 1952 from Ohio. He served in the Army in World War II and later was in the Kwajalein atomic bomb project. Earlier in his career he was a navigator of a Goodyear blimp. He was co-founder of the International Key Winders Association (KAWCE), was a meber of Masonic Lodge 697, El Zaribah Shrine, Elks Lodge 335 and North Phoenix Lions Club. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Stanley W. Sauer, and stepdaughter, Mrs. Ray Pedersen. Cremation was arranged by A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary. The Arizona Republic Saturday, Oct. 11, 1980.

Lucy Buckner Wells, 87, a former program director for the Phoenix YWCA, died March 26, 1980, in Kivel Nursing Home. She came to Phoenix 40 years ago from Aubuquerque. Miss Wells was graduated from the University of Chicago and was a student of Dr. James H. Breasted, a noted archeologist and Egyptologist. She was on the staff of the university's field school at Luxor, Egypt, during the excavation of King Tut's Tomb. Cremation. Memorial services were in Unitarian Universalist Church.

WELSH, Dr. Jane M.

Dr. Jane M. Welsh, 46, who headed the Career Center at Mesa Community College, died March 13, 1980. Dr. Welsh was recognized locally and nationally for her work with women in careers. She was a member of the National Association of Women Deans and Counselors and the American Personal Guidance Association. She earned bachelor's, Master's and doctor's degrees at Arizona State University. She came here 17 years ago. Survivors include her daughters, Kristy and Kathy Welsh; mother, Jean Mueller, and a sister. A memorial scholarship fund was established in her name at the MCC Career Center. Beulah C. Wilson, 82, widow of Ray W. Wilson, former Phoenix city manager, died Jan. 26, 1980, in St. Joseph Hospital. Mrs. Wilson came to Phoenix 30 years ago from Kansas City, MO. She served as a sergeant in the Women's Army Corps and earned three decorations for distinguished service during World War II. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, PEO Sisterhood and Encanto Golf Association. Her husband, who died in 1976, was the firt city manager appointed under the charter reform movement. His 11 years was the longest term in Phoenix history. Survivors include her children, Virginia Wren and Robert Wilson; and two sisters. 1/29/1980.
