BLANKENSHIP, CREASEY, WITT -
William Creasey married Martha Jane Witt in 1837, Bedford Co., VA. In 1850, they
had children: Elsy, Mark and Cassie Ann M. Cassie Ann later married Addison Blankenship.
However, Martha was head of household in 1850, with no William. Did William die or did they
divorce? There is a William Creasey in Pittsylvania Co. whose age roughly matches that of
William of Bedford. He was with Mary 27, Mary 1, and William, 2 months old.

GLADMAN, GREGORY, RIFQUE, RISQUE -
I am searching for any information regarding the family of my great-grandmother, Maria
GLADMAN, who was from Lynchburg, VA in the county of Bedford. She lived in the Lynchburg
area until approximately 1861, when she and her husband and two sons left for Ohio. Her father's
name was Claiborne GLADMAN, and I believe her mother's name was Anna RIFQUE or
RISQUE. She had several siblings whose names were Lucinda, Frances, Louisa, William, John,
Alexander, and Gustavus. Maria GLADMAN's husband was Henry GREGORY.

I am seeking help from any one in Bedford County, Va who may be able to help me identify
Turner Road. This is found in old land records in the area of the Island Creek water
course near Gillespie. I know there is a Turner mountain but it would be very helpful to know
which road was called Turner. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
