I'm looking for any information I can find regarding Jenkin OXLEY. Thought to be the
grandson of Henry OXLEY. I do not know the names of Jenkin OXLEY's parents. Jenkin
OXLEY b. 1762? in Loudoun Co. VA, married in Bedford Co. VA to Hester ????? and died in
Franklin Co. VA. Thanks for the help.

Looking for any information regarding Micajah WALKER, b. Jan. 1783 in VA. There may have
been two Micajah WALKERs perhaps father and son. A Micajah WALKER living in
Bedford Co. stated he was raised with Joseph PAYNE. Also a younger Micajah WALKER
married Jennie ANDERSON in Bedford County. She was the daughter of David ANDERSON.

County VA, m. 1813 Green County KY to Elizabeth "Betsy" Davis, d. 1857 Marion
County KY) and his children: Moses, Eunicy, Nancy, Amanda, America Jane, Judith, Mary Isabella,
John " Rezin Davis Overstreet. John Overstreet was the son of Thomas
and Judith (Walker) Overstreet who moved from Virginia to Mercer County KY in 1792.
Was John's daughter America Jane Overstreet the same America Jane Overstreet who
married 1850 Casey County KY to Daniel Alfred Lane? Daniel Alfred Lane "
American Jane (Overstreet) Lane resided 1850 in Casey County KY, 1860 in Washington
County IL, 1870 in Wayne County IL " 1880 in Barry County MO.

Bedford Co. VA. Robert married Susanna Mahon, December 15, 1818 in Pittsylvania Co. VA.
and moved his family to Osage Co. MO. abt. 1835. Possibly brother David and sister Permelia.
Names of parents unknown. Robert is my ggggrandfather.

I am researching the POWER Family in Bedford, Pittsylvania and New Kent Counties. James
POWER died in Bedford Co., in 1807/8. His widow was Elizabeth (QUARLES?)
POWER. It has been found that James POWER migrated from New Kent County to Bedford
ca. 1805. There were 7 children from this union: Mary md. John W. AYERS, Elizabeth Q. md.
George W. SAUNDERS, Nancy Ann md. James Campbell ARTHUR, Sarah W. md. John
PAYNE. Janetta F. md. John WRIGHT; all marriages were in Bedford Co. Two sons: Rev.
John W. POWER md. Elizabeth Malone GLASS and William W. POWER md. Mary
Bright STARKEY both married and resided in Pittsylvania Co. There was also considerable
Bedford County interaction with the CUNDIFF and BROWN families. I will be glad to exchange info
on any of these families.

I am trying to find out some info on my family. Most all are from Patrick County except one!
David Rorrer was born 1792 in Bedford, parents unknown, he died 8/25/1880 in Patrick Co.,
VA. I am wanting to know birth date and parents names. Can you help?
