CARTER, KELLY, ST.CLAIR -
I'm look for some information on a family, their name is CARTER, that is from Bedford
County, VA. Charles Lilburn Carter was born 4-24-1850 and died 6-6-1907. His wife was
Sarah Elizabeth St.Clair and she was born 7-14-1850 and died 2-4-1915. Their children

GILLESPIE, WILSON -
I am looking for the family of Larkin/Larcen GILLESPIE who married John Hubbard
Wilson. He was born in 1812, they had a child born in 1835, Robert N. Wilson, and
a dau. Victoria H. Wilson born about 1840. They were living in Campbell County by 1850,
but I have reason to believe the wife Lxxxxx GILLESPIE was from Bedford County. Any
information whatsoever on her and her family will be greatly appreciated!

RUSHER, TURMAN -
I am looking for any information about Andrew RUSHER who was born in 1746 or shortly
before that year. He purchased land in 1767, from the Calloway family, along the banks of
Sycamore Creek, near a mountain that used to be called Johnson Mountain. He is believed
to be the brother of George RUSHER who served with Col Byrd in 1760. Andrew Rusher
married Ann Turman, daughter of Benjamin Turman, Sr. The Turmans lived
next to him on Sycamore Creek, but moved shortly after Andrew and Anne were married. I am
specificaly looking for the parents and siblings of Andrew Rusher, and the birthplace of
Andrew Rusher. He died in Bedford County in 1822. Ann Turman Rusher died in
Bedford County in 1823. The origin of the Rusher family is said to have been Germany.

KARNES -
Seeking information on Rachel Karnes believed to have been born in Bedford County,
Virginia in 1830. Possible daughter to Jonathan & Cynthia Karnes (no proof at this
time). Rachel may be lised in either the 1830 or 1840 Bedford County Census. Last place that she
lived that can be verified is in Fremont County, Iowa in 1850 which is also the last place that I
can verify Jonthan & Cynthia Karnes lived. Thanks, Tim McCord
