Alsup TAYLOR was in Bedford County as early as 1800 where he was surety for Washington TAYLOR. His wife Penelope ANGEL TAYLOR was my 4 g grandfather's sister. They were in Franklin County, VA after 1810 and before 1820. Who were their children? What connection if any to the GAULDENs. He was Surety for Susannah GAULDEN married a ?ROSS in 1810 in Bedford.Thanks for your help. Lois Cleveland in Alabama

I am searching for information on the family of Triplette Estes Lowry born ca 1797 who married, as his second wife, 25 February 1839 in Bedford Co, VA, Matilda C. Brown. They had five children as follows: Elizabeth B., born 1840, married 02 Oct 1867 Bedford Co, VA, Henry B. Wilkes, born 25 Oct 1833, died 06 Dec 1920; Marshall Milton, born 15 Aug 1842, died 19 Jun 1888, married 20 Dec 1865, Bedford Co, VA, Susan Turner Everett, born 05 Apr 1842, died 03 Apr 1914; Harriett M., born ca 1844, married 24 May 1866, Bedford Co, VA, Thomas B. Perrow, born 1836; Edmonia P. born ca 1846, died 28 Oct 1912, Bedford Co, VA, never married buried Timber Ridge Baptist Church, Bedford Co, VA; and George W. Lowry, born ca 1848, married Lizzie ____. Triplette Estes was the first child of William B. Lowry, Jr. who married Elizabeth Pullen in Lunenburg Co, VA. The children of William B. and Elizabeth Pullen Lowry were: Triplette Estes, Milton, Albert M., Thomas, Eleanor Howard, Nelson, Howard, Mary Isabel, Richard Warren, Nancy Ann and Sarah. Can anyone help me develop the families of any of these children?

Seek info on Robert Hall and family. Robert was reportedly born in Albemarle County in 1761. Enlisted in militia in Henry County in 1778. After term, he "returned home" to Bedford County. In 1779, he re-enlisted under Capt Trigg and Col Merriweather and after that term returned to Bedford. He was "drafted" in 1781 and served under Capt. Clamments(?), Lt. Cobb and Maj Ward. Fought in Battle of '96. Believe he then lived in Bedford for a short time before going to Henry County.
