Larry Darnell Randle

BAY CITY - Larry Darnell "Popa" Randle, 50, of Bay City, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2006 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 7, 1955, in Bay City, to Jessie Lee Randle Dykes. He was a 1974 high school graduate and a former member of Enterprise Baptist Church.

Survivors: sisters, Mozell Mathias, Alice F. Johnson, Jessie B. Dykes, Carrie L. Dykes, all of Bay City, and Wilma Brown of Cedar Lake; and brothers, Clemission Luddington of Iowa Park and Raymond Randle of Bay City.

Preceded in death by: sister, Shirley Randle.

Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. tonight at Green's Mortuary and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Bay City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Florida Ray Smith officiating.

Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Van Vleck [Matagorda County, Texas]. Green's Mortuary, Bay City, 979-245-3489.

Old Ocean—Betsy Ann Revis, 85, of Old Ocean, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006.

She was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Van Vleck, to the late Douglas Charles and Everlina Chambers Revis.

Survivors: sister, Leonteen Alexander of Old Ocean.

Visitation will be 3-9 p. m. today at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home in Bay City.

Services will be 11 a. m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in Van Vleck, the Rev. Ruben Newell officiating.

Funeral service for Eddie Alfred Richardson, Jr., 56, of Bay City will be Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at 11 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Van Vleck with the Rev. Ruben Newell officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Van Vleck. Eddie will lie in state at the church Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2001 from 12 noon to 9 p.m. at Green's Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

On May 19, 1945, a baby boy was born to Eddie and Annie Swist Richardson in Cedar Lane. He graduated from O. H. Herman High School in 1963 in Van Vleck. He passed away July 19, 2001 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. He was a very successful businessman in Houston. Everyone who knew him knew about the "corner" or in other words South Main Gulf Station. His precious memories will always remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Sarah Batiste Richardson of Bay City; his mother, Annie Bryant of Bay City; daughters, Bertha and Robert of Bay City, Delores and Wayne of Houston and Mary of Houston; sons, Eddie III of Bay City, Taurus and Tonya of Houston; twins, Chris and Christopher of Houston, John and Sharon of Sweeny; brother, Will Richardson of Houston, Darryl Richardson and Marie of Houston; Arinzo Brown of Houston; sisters, Teresa Richardson and Thomas of Bay City; four aunts, Millie Pettit of Van Vleck, Pearl Robinson of Van Vleck, Myrtle James of Van Vleck and Mary Lou Hawkins of Cedar Lane; godchildren, Thomas Swist, III, Dexter Pettit, Jr.; his grandchildren, Felecia Nicole, Priscilla Antonette, and Colin Trace of Bay City; 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Orville Richardson

Funeral services for Orville Richardson, 42, of Markham will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at St. John Baptist Church in Van Vleck, with the Rev. Ruben Newell eulogist. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery at Van Vleck.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 9 p.m. in the chapel of Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home.

He was born in Tortola, the British Virgin Islands on Monday, June 2, 1958 to Corentz Richardson and Olga Rogers Richardson, and passed away Friday Sept. 7, 2001 in Plainview, Texas as a result of an auto accident.

At the time of his demise, he was employed as a truck driver with Roadwest Co. and was a kind person to all.

Survivors include his wife, Sherria; three children, Saysha, Orville, Jr. and Aaryn Richardson; one guardian son, Yusuf Richardson; his mother, Olga Richardson of Van Vleck; five sisters, Urmin Webster and Ken, Darlene Richardson, and Selia Richardson, all of Houston; Annette Richardson and Jenette Richardson, both of the British Virgin Islands, his grandmother,
Clemence Lake of the British Virgin Islands; father and mother-in-law, Jonas and Frances Stone Brinkley of Van Vleck; two sisters-in-law, Denise Brazil and Lloyd of Markham, and Linette Parker of Bay City; two brothers-in-law, Earnest Brinkley Sr., of Van Vleck and the Rev. Dallas Ross and Connie of Sweeny; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ramong Parex Richardson

Funeral services for Ramong Parex Richardson, 38, of Markham, are scheduled for 2 p. m. Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church in Van Vleck with the Rev. Ruben Newell officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Van Vleck.

Visitation will be until 9 p. m. today at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home chapel and from 1 to 2 p. m. at St. John Baptist Church.

Mr. Richardson was born June 21, 1955 in Island Harbor, Anguilla, West Indies, to Corentz and Olga Rogers Richardson and died Sept. 17, 1993 in Hermann Hospital in Houston.

He served in the U. S. Navy for six years.

Survivors include: a daughter, Dominique of Virginia; six sons, Don of Anguilla of the West Indies, Kenyon, Kleon, Cleavon and Ramong I, all of New Jersey and Ramong Jr. of Markham; his parents, Corentz and Olga Rogers Richardson of New Jersey; three sisters, Selia of Anguilla, West Indies and Urmin and Darleen of New Jersey; two brothers, Jerome of Markham and Wade of New Jersey; five nieces, Tiffany, Shalene , Saysha, Aany and Keneena; three nephews, Yusuf, Orville Jr. and John Jr. and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jerome Richardson, Don Richardson, Dallas B. Ross, Luther Turnbull, Rudolph Rogers, and Ernest Brinkley.

She was born in Bay City, Texas, July 26, 1958, to Eddie Richardson, Sr. and Laura Lemons Richardson, and passed away April 7, 2012 in Bay City.

She was a graduate of Bay City High School and later attended North Texas State University in Denton. She also was a former cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include: three children, Sterling Smoake of San Antonio, Zahria Battle and Zachry Battle; devoted friend, Thomas Battle, all of Bay City; one sister, Jean Johnson of Sugar Land; two brothers, Will Richardson of Houston, and Donnye Sampson (and Marva) of Houston; sister-in-law, Sara Richardson of Houston and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ashley is the daughter of Delores Richardson of Van Vleck, TX and father, Ira Autrey of Richmond, TX.

Ashley attended Willowridge High School in Missouri City, TX.

She leaves behind a husband, Kayode Agunba of Houston, TX; grandmother, Ruby Stewart-Mills (Raymond) of Bay City, TX; aunts, Bertha Fields (Lawyer) of Van Vleck, Shirley McMorris (James) of Cypress, TX and Tanisha Sardinea of Bay City, TX; uncles, Will Richardson of Houston, TX, Arinzo Bryan of Clute, TX, Eddie Richardon III (Victoria) of Bay City, TX, John Brinkley (Sonia) of Bay City, TX, Taurus Richardson (Tonya) of Houston, TX, Christopher and Chris Johnson of Houston, TX; brothers, Ira Autrey Jr of Salina, Kansas, Dewayne Ira Autrey of Bennet, CO; sister, Kyra D.
