YANCY, Gregory Michael

Gregory Michael Yancy, 22, a cook for Sizzler Steak House, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1982, in a Valley hospital. He was a native of Phoenix and attended Washington High School. Survivors include his parents Suzanne and Farrell Yancy; three brothers; two stepsisters; and grandparents. Services were in Trinity United Methodist Church. YANEZ, Matilde

Matilde Yanez, 79, who had taught nursing at St. Joseph's Hospital, died Sat., Oct. 16, 1982, in her Phoenix residence. Miss Yanez was a native of Arizona and attended Phoenix Union High School and Northern Arizona University. She was a U.S. Army nurse during World War II. Survivors include a sister and two brothers. 10/18/1982.

YAREMCZUK, Mary

Mary Yaremczuk, 89, 1015 E. Moreland, died Fri., Dec. 3, 1982, at Phoenix Nursing and Convalescent Center. Aunt of John Ollyr, Milwaukee, WI; cousin of George Yaremczuk, Pennsylvania. She was born in the Ukraine and moved to Phoenix from Milwaukee in 1960. Trisagion service was at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1102 N. 10th St.. Interment Greenwood Memorial Park. 12/7/1982.

YATES, Alvin F.

Alvin F. Yates, 75, a former railroad clerk, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1982, in his Sun City residence. Services for Yates, who moved to Sun City in 1971 from his native Chicago, were in Lundberg's Golden Door Chapel, Youngtown. He was a member of Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, Fairway Recreation Center and the Railroaders Club. He was a 50-year Mason and member of Maine Chapter No. 257 Park Ridge, Illinois. Eula B. Yoder, 78, a retired registered nurse with Los Angeles County, died Dec. 3, 1982, at her residence. Mrs. Yoder was born in Oklahoma and moved to Phoenix from Anaheim, California, a year ago. She managed a home for mentally retarded women in California. Survived by her daughter, June Troup; two brothers; and three grandchildren. 12/4/1982.

YOSKOVICH, Mary

Services for Mary Yoskovich, 48, who had been a waitress for a Valley food service, were in Chapel of the CHimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Mrs. Yoskovich, of Phoenix, was born in West Virginia and died Jan. 31, 1982, in Good Samaritan Hospital. She moved here 12 years go from Pennsylvania. Survivors include her husband, George; son, George, Jr.; mother, Kathleen Hall; and a sister. The AZ Republic Feb. 3, 1982.

YOUNG, Audrey

Services for Audrey Young, 75, who had been a chief operator for General Communications, were in A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary. Mrs. Young, 1921 W. Granada, died Jan. 31, 1982, in the home of a daughter in Scottsdale. She was born in Alabama and came to Arizona in 1944 from Texas. Scottsdale -- Ella R. Young, 89, died Nov. 30, 1982, at Bells Lodge. She was a homemaker. She was born in Wisconsin and moved to Arizona 15 years ago. Survivors include a daughter, VIrginia Noble; sons, Darrell and Thomas; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 12/3/1982.

Frank Young, 45, who was self-employed in the investment field, died Nov. 26, 1982, at John C. Lincoln Hospital and Health Center. Mr. Young moved to Arizona 18 years ago from his native New York. Services for Steve Young, Sr., 83, a self-employed electrician who lived in Arizona 60 years, were in Weber and Sons Mortuary chapel. Young, 398 E. Roeser, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1982, in a Valley hospital. He was born in Louisiana and served in the Army during both world wars. Clarkdale -- Services for Zella S. Young, 90, of Clarkdale, were at the United Methodist Church of Clarkdale. Mrs. Young died Feb. 5, 1982, in Marcos Lawrence Hospital. Graveside services were at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren in Phoenix. Mrs. Young was born in Casnovia, Michigan, and came to Arizona in 1907. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Herbert; children, Geraldine DuVall and Burton; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. YOUNGKER, Madelyn Ruth

Sun City -- Madelyn Ruth Youngker, 61, of 17414 130th Drive, died Dec. 16, 1982, at her residence. Mrs. Youngker was born in Marriette, Minn., moved to Buckeye in 1946 and to Sun City West in 1978. She was a graduate of Cornell College in Iowa. She served as secretary for the Buckeye Community Church for several years and was a member of the First Christian Church of Phoenix. She is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Susan Truax, Scottsdale; son, Chuck, Buckeye; and seven grandchildren. Services were at the Buckeye Community Church. A. L. Moore and Sons made the arrangements. Interment Memory Lawn. Arizona Republic December 28, 1982.

YUEN, Lizzie

Lizzie Yuen, 84, manager of Yuen Lung Grocery in Phoenix, died Dec. 2, 1982, at Humana Hospital. Mrs. Yuen was born in Karantung, China, and moved to Arizona in 1921. She is survived by daughters, Lupe, Lucy and Lily McCormick; sons, Hong Dong, Bill and Dr. George Yuen; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Interment Greenwood Memorial Park. 12/4/1982.
