Edna—Funeral services for Mrs. Maudie Inghram, 64, of Edna will be held at 2 p. m. Friday from the Peabody Street Church of Christ with O. S. Scranton officiating. Burial will be in the Kerr Cemetery under the direction of the Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Major Dennis Jr., Jessie Dennis, Anthony Dennis, Horace Butler, Rodney Brooks and Lincoln Edwards. Mrs. Inghram was born Feb. 25, 1912 in Jackson County. She died Monday in an Edna hospital after a brief illness. Surviving are a daughter, Lois B. Dennis of Edna; son, Victor Rhoder of Houston; sister, Plattie Mae Butler of Edna; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Edna—Funeral services for Stanley O. Inghram, 58, of Edna will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Scruggs Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ernest Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the Kerr Cemetery under direction of the Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Lincoln Edwards, Lawrence, Keith and James D. Brigham Jr., and L. E. Robinson. Mr. Inghram was born May 12, 1918 in Texas, and was a veteran of World War II. He died Monday in a Houston hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Jean Inghram of Indianapolis, Ind. and Mrs. Bobbi Nell McGee of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Littlejohn and Mrs. Elcina Callis of Edna; and a brother, Ernon Inghram of Edna.

Edna—Funeral services for Mrs. Delilah Ingram, 81, of Edna, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at Scruggs Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. C. J. Polk officiating. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery under the direction of Cook Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Marion, L. A. and Ernest Gipson, Runge Boykins, L. L. Johnson and James Brigham, all nephews. Communion stewards of Scruggs Chapel are named as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Ingram, an employee in the home of Mrs. Jennie White for 43 years, died Wednesday in a Ganado hospital. She was born Sept. 3, 1887, in Jackson County. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Littlejohn of Edna and Mrs. Elfina Callis of Houston; a son, Stanley O. Ingram of Houston; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Edna--Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie V. Ingram, 65, of Edna, who died Wednesday in a Victoria hospital, will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday in the Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. R. A. Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Sayles Cemetery under direction of the Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Willard and James Franklin, Theodore and Timothy Tippens, Benjamin Scott and Olin Robinson. Mrs. Ingram was born Jan. 27, 1917, in the Texana area and was a member of the Eastern Star and American Woodmen. She is survived by two sons, Ernon Ingram Jr. and I. V. Ingram of Edna; two sisters, Mrs. Estella Mae Green and Mrs. Bessie Mae Scott of Galveston; and four brothers, Carl Franklin of Port Lavaca and Willard, Freddie and T. L. Franklin, all of Edna.

Edna – Sybil Hadley Irwin, 54, of Edna died Thursday at an Edna hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Saturday at the Slavik Funeral Home chapel in Edna with the Rev. Henry Learn, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of Edna. Mrs. Irwin was born in Edna Aug. 24, 1930, to Charlie and Rosalee McDavid Hadley. She was a house wife and member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lowell W. Irwin of Edna; five daughters, Connie Rother of Gonzales, Beverly Filla of Lockhart, Deborah Franka and Donna Hilgart, both of Edna, and Sandy Susil of Wharton; five sisters, Lillie Golden of Houston, Artie B. Hadley, Jewell Olsovsky, Tincie Cleveland and Zola Michalke, all of Edna; two brothers, Sterling Hadley of Houston and Charlie Hadley of Edna; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Larry, Sonny, Kelly and Ronnie Hadley, Kenneth Fojtik, Leon Stark and Wesley Coffmon.

Aaron Robert Ivory, of Edna, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the age of 39. He was born in Victoria, Texas on Dec. 24, 1978, to Robert O. Ivory and Betty Browning Lynch. Aaron worked at Premier Cylinder for 11 years. He was Butch Smith’s right hand man. His hobbies included fishing, car racing, and repairing motors with Tony Blankenship. He enjoyed watching his sons play sports. He loved playing jokes on the family. He was our go-to fix-it MAN on any project needed and always willing to give a helping hand. Aaron was a very loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and dear friend who will be missed dearly. Aaron is survived by his parents, father, Robert Ivory; mother, Betty Browning Lynch; step-father, Bill Lynch; daughter, Miranda Ivory; sons, Shelton Ivory and Brayden Ivory; sister, Christy Muschalek (Thomas); girlfriend, Jade Wolf; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; he had a special relationship with his niece Hannah Muschalek. Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Thelma Ivory, Alvin and Juanita Browning; uncle, Bill Ivory. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 30, from 5-7 p.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the First Baptist Church of Edna. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna. Pallbearers will be Butch Smith, Timmy Ressman, Mark Bundren, Mickey Helms, Jesse Soto, John Neal, and Chris Browning. Honorary pallbearers are Kyle Muschalek, Hannah Muschalek, and Karlie Koudela. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Youth Ministry of the First Baptist Church, P.O. Houston – Thelma Ivory, 86, of Houston and formerly of Edna, died Friday, January 18, 2002. She was born May 25, 1915 in Chicashee, Okla. She was a volunteer worker at Care Inn Nursing Home in Edna and a Baptist. Survivors: husband, Bristow Ivory; daughters, Paulette Harbin of Houston and May French of Shreveport, La.; son, Bob Ivory of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister, Eunice Pausewang of West Columbia; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by: son, Bill Ivory, and father, Andrew Yearout. Services will be 2 p. m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Edna, the Rev. Jim Gilbert officiating. Houston – William Bristow Ivory, 95, of Houston, formerly of Edna, died Thursday, June 8, 2006. He was born Sept. 18, 1910, to the late William Robert and Addie Speed Ivory. He was a retired gauger for Enron Corp. and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters, Mary Louise French of Shreveport, La., and Paulette Harbin of Houston; son, Bobby Ivory of Seymour, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: wife, Margaret Thelma Yearout Ivory; and son, Bill Ivory. Services will be 3 p. m. today at First Baptist Church of Edna, the Rev. Danny Reeves officiating.
