BABE DIDRIKSON ZAHARIAS, internationally known athlete who died Thursday in Galveston,
Texas, was a sister of Mrs. Dora WILLIS of Morristown. Mrs. Zaharias had visited her sister in
Morristown frequently and had given exhibition golf play at the Wickenburg Country Club.

LEONAINE ZILLER of Sun City West, and formerly of Wickenburg, died March 17 in Peoria. She was 95.
Mrs. Ziller was born April 4, 1901 in Oregon. She had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years, corning from Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Abe.
Services will be at 10:00 a. m. Friday, March 31 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery, with burial following

LEONAINE ZILLER of Sun City West and formerly of Wickenburg, died March 17 in Peoria. She was 95. Mrs. Ziller was born April 4, 1901 in Oregon. She had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years, coming from Oregon.
Mrs. Ziller worked as a teacher in Portland, Ore., for many years before moving to Wickenburg with her husband Abe. She had resided in Sun City West since 1993. Mrs. Ziller always fondly remembered Wickenburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 31 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery, with burial following.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled all the arrangements.

ANN MARIE ZILINSKI of Phoenix, and a former resident of the Wickenburg area, died March 10 in Phoenix. She was 75.
Mrs. Zilinski was born July 27, 1921 in Jersey City, N.J. She had lived in Arizona for the past 47 years.
Mrs. Zilinski was born in New Jersey and moved to Arizona in 1949. She was a homemaker, mother and wonderful grandmother. She was an excellent cook and also loved sewing and going to see movies.
Mrs. Zilinski babysat children and was like their second mother. She was loved by all she met, especially her children's friends. She enjoyed camping, traveling and driving. For many years, she raised miniature dachshunds.
Survivors include her husband Fred Zilinski of Phoenix; daughters Mary and Brenda, both of Phoenix; son-in-law Gordon of Phoenix; and grandchildren Raymond, Garner, Brett and Bevan.
Services were held Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenix. Father Bruno officiated. Interment was conducted at the V.A. National Cemetery in Phoenix.
Visitation was held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 14 at Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel, with rosary services conducted at 7 p.m. Father John Vogt was the officiant.
Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

PATRICIA JEAN ZUMWALT of Congress, passed away peacefully at her home in Congress on Wednesday, July 11, 61 years young.
She was born Jan. 13, 1940 in Yakima, Wash. to Edd and Grace HERRINGTON.
She was a joy and inspiration to everyone she knew. Her family and friends will remember her as a caring, fun and loving friend to all. She loved her family as they did her.
Pat and her loving husband, Art, were married June 10, 1989. They lived in Susanville, Calif. until Art retired in 1992 from the California Department of Forestry after 35 years of dedicated service. They enjoyed life, travel and the great outdoors, so they decided to sell their home and begin a life of full-time RVing. They crisscrossed the United States and Canada, enjoying many memorable places together.
Pat was a serious genealogist, which she and Art pursued at every opportunity during their many travels. They enjoyed many adventures and shared their stories with all. Traveling in their truck and trailer gave them numerous opportunities to visit friends and family across our beautiful country. Through Pat's extensive research, she initiated and was the Founding Regent of the Susanville Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Pat had always shown a talent for arts and crafts of many varieties, but she didn't realize her true ability until she discovered painting. She painted numerous oil and acrylic landscapes and florals that decorate her and Art's home in Congress that her family and friends have admired and enjoyed for several years.
Pat has two younger sisters, Nancy JOHNSON of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Linda BURGIN of Everett, Wash. Pat and her sisters were raised on a farm in Eastern Washington and learned the meaning of hard work at an early age.
Pat has five children: Dan TURNER of Gilbert (wife Chris, daughters Andrea, Kristen and Julia); Lavon CONLIN of Richland, Wash. (husband Ken, son Scott); David Turner of Bellvue, Neb. (wife Diane, sons David Jr., Steven and Michael, daughter Tara and grandson Brent); Larae NOEL of Finley, Wash. (husband Ron, sons Jeremy and Ronnie) and Linda Edwards of Plattsmouth, Neb. (sons Todd and Matt). Pat loved Art's three children as if they were her own: Donna Weaver of Tulare, Calif.(husband Buck, daughter Melanie, granddaughter Madison and son Chris); Liz HERNANDEZ of Visalia, Calif. (husband Rick, daughters Amy and Lina, sons Samer, Ricky and Christopher); and Jerry ZUMWALT of Fresno, Calif. (wife Teresa, son Arthur). Pat had 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pat was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg, James P. Longstreet and John Martin, ministers. Jim and John have been a guiding light of faith for Pat during the last couple of years as she fought valiantly to overcome her terminal illness.
Pat was a loving wife, a caring mother, a respected sister, a doting grandmother and a dear friend to many. Her time with us will remain in our memories forever. She was cherished and loved by all.
Services were held at the North Ranch clubhouse in Congress on July 16, with cremation burial services to be held at River View Heights Cemetery in Kennewick, Wash. in August.
Pat was a frequent donor to the Escapees Care facility, an organization that provides assistance to medically disabled RVers. All donations can be sent in care of Patricia Zumwalt to: Escapees Care Inc., 2000 Care Center Dr., Livingston, Texas 77351.
