Devonshire, died Oct. 22, 1979, in Phoenix Baptist Hospital. He had worked for the New York City Housing Authority before moving here four years ago. SALCIDO, Henry A.

Henry A. Salcido, 70, a former owner of Palms Photo in his native PHoenix until retiring in 1971, died Oct. 30, 1979, in a local nursing home. Mr. Salcido, 1720 Circle Drive, Tempe, was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Elks and a past president and treasurer of the Holy Name Society. He had managed Oatis Photo Laboratory before establising his partnership at Palms Photo. Survivors include his wife, Adeline; children, Josephine Carrera, Connie Dietrich and Henry, Jr.; nine grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers. Rosary was in Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. SALT, Benjamin Axel

Services for Benjamin Axel Salt, 45, a Phoenix City magistrate since 1971, were in First Presbyterian Church, 4th Avenue & Monroe. He died Oct. 30, 1979. Mr. Salt was a member of the church, Rotary Club 100 and Phoenix Federation of Musicians. He was a former member of the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, had been executive director of Maricopa County Legal Aid and a deputy county attorney. After moving her in 1946 from Auburn, N.Y., he graduated from North High, Arizona State University and University of Arizona Law School. He was a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Rose G. Sampson, 72, a World War II Air Force veteran who lived in Phoenix for the past 10 years, died Sept. 29, 1979, in Veterans Hospital. Thomas W. Sanders, 75, who came here in 1960 from Montana and had been an administrative officer in the Bureau of Indian Affairs, died Oct. 25, 1979, in his home, 1732 E. Luke.
