Passed Away At A Ripe Old Age August 5,1909
Mr. Wm. A. Snellings passed away early Thursday morning at his home in Stafford Co. In the 91st year of his age, after several months illness. He was born in Stafford June 29th, 1819, and is survived by six children, four daughters and two sons, besides a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. His children are Mrs. Sarah F. Boggs, Mrs. Chas A. Snellings, of Richmond; Mr. W.W. Snellings, Mrs. A.I. Snellings; Miss Elias V. Snellings; Mrs. Columbia Mareereau, all of whom were by his bedside at the time of his death.
Funeral from his late home Friday at 3:30 p.m. and internment in family burying grounds by side of his wife, services conducted by Rev. T.E. Spencer, of Falmouth.
