The Coe Library at the University of Wyoming and the State Archives in Cheyenne have microfilm copies of Laramie newspapers (Daily Boomerang, or the Sentinel) from 1868 to 1998. There are some years missing when the original newspapers could not be found for those years. Anything referenced in the Obituary Index should be found somewhere on microfilm at these two libraries.
The Albany County Library in Laramie and has microfilms of the newspapers for most of 1868 - 1912. They also have bound copies of the newspapers for 1912 - to about 1952. They have microfilm of the newspapers from then on to date. They did not purchase microfilm for the hard bound copy years that they have on the shelf.
In addition to the 1912 - 1952 hard copies of the Boomerang and Sentinel, the Laramie Plains Museum has hardbound copies of the newspapers from 1912 to about 1940 which they gave to the American Heritage Center on the University of Wyoming campus in 1999, so there is a second set of hard bound copies there.
