In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jackson King, Sr.; a son, Howard Jackson King, Jr.; three brothers, Roy, John, and Earnest Turman; and four sisters, Serena Olzaski, Lockey Belle Smith, Mittie D. Allen, and Alice Flinchum. She is survived by her special friends and caregivers, Garnett and Lassie "Wiladean" Lindsey of Newbern; and three sisters-in-laws; one brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 29, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle and Sons. Interment will follow in Newbern Cemetery.
