Helen L. Quesenberry, 94, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 1, 2007. Mrs. Quesenberry was born on May 8, 1912 in Radford, VA to the late Harry L. and Almetta Q. Turpin. She was predeceased by her husband, Ebbie J. Quesenberry, whom she married on Dec. 31, 1932 in Radford, VA. They moved to Virginia Beach, VA in Sept. of 1949. She was a retired civil service clerk with the Naval Exchange. She was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church since 1949 where was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Echoes Senior Choir and loved working with people. Mrs. Quesenberry leaves to cherish her memory several nieces and nephews and her church family at London Bridge Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Sat. in London Bridge Baptist Church, 2460 Potters Road, Virginia Beach, VA. Interment will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Ebbie Johnson Quesenberry, 85, of the 300 block of London Bridge Road, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 1995, in his residence. 
He was a native of Indian Valley, Va., and retired in 1983 after 26 years as a carpenter with R.L. DeHart Enterprises. Ebbie was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church, and was the beloved husband for 62 years of Helen Turpin Quesenberry.
In addition to his wife, Helen, he is survived by three sisters, Ilene Crigler of Radford, Va., Evelyn Lasher of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Dean Morris of Radford, Va.; six brothers, Roy Quesenberry of Dublin, Va., Walter Quesenberry of Vallejo, Calif., Wiley Quesenberry of Radford, Va., Hassell Roop of Radford, Va., Vinson Quesenberry of Shawsville, Va., and Barney Quesenberry of Salt Lake City, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. 
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. in London Bridge Baptist Church, by the Rev. Tommy J. Taylor. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. QUESENBERRY, Vinson Howard, 80, of Radford, died Tuesday, February 11, 1997, in a Shawsville nursing home.

Surviving are three brothers, Wiley Quesenberry, Radford, Barney Quesenberry, Phoenix, Ariz., and Walter Quesenberry, Valejo, Calif.; three half-sisters, Ilene Crigler and Dean Morris, Radford, and Evelyn Lasher, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; two stepsisters, Virginia Dower, Abingdon, and Frances Bowyer, Christiansburg; and a stepbrother, Hobart Roop, Dugspur. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 1997, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Glennard Quesenberry and Rev. Cecil Albano officiating.

Interment will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery in Floyd County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.

Wiley H. Quesenberry, 89, of Radford, Va., died on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Farmer Quesenberry.

Mr. Quesenberry served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and was retired from Burlington Industries.

He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church of Radford, a member and past president of the Radford Hosts Lion's Club, a member of the Snowville Lodge # 159 AF & AM, and the Kazim Temple in Roanoke. He was also a volunteer at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Jack Roberts, of Kenbridge, Va., and Jean and Wayne Bullerman, of Hardy, Va.; and son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Judi Quesenberry, of Radford.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Jimmy Roberts, of Richmond, Va., Richard Roberts and his wife, Jamie, of Kenbridge, Va., Paul Bullerman and his wife, Crystal, of Radford, Va., David Roberts, of Seattle, Wash., Matt Bullerman and his wife, Christina, of Hillsville, Va., Jon Quesenberry, of Radford, Va., Jason Bullerman and his wife, Lesley, of Elkton, Md., Tim Quesenberry, of Waynesboro, Va., Emily Wright and her husband, Ryan, of Hardy, Va., and Rebecca Dunn and her husband, Chris, of Radford, Va.; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Ilene Crigler and Dean Roop, of Radford, Evelyn Lasher, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Frances Bowyer, of Christiansburg, Va.

The family will receive friends at DeVilbiss Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held at The Presbyterian Church of Radford 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2011, with the Reverend David Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Fairlawn, Va., with Masonic Graveside Rites by the Snowville Lodge #159 AF & AM. QUESENBERRY, Clydie Pearl Dalton, 97, of Indian Valley, passed away at her home Saturday, April 22, 2000. She was born May 24, 1902, to George W. and Cordelia F. Hurst Dalton. She married Hiram W. Quesenberry on November 3, 1926, he was a veteran of WW I. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1973.

She was a member of the Baptist Church, and LPN Nurse, and the Indian Valley Switchboard Operator. She also served as Weather observer for the Government for over 51 years.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews; and also, by a dedicated team of care givers which allowed her to spend her last days at her home.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Presto Wines and the Rev. Gerald Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Capt. George Quesenberry Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 Noon Sunday, at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 7 until 9 p.m.

She was born on June 3, 1923, to the late Hobert and Bertha Quesenberry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth William Gordon; her two sons, Kenneth William Gordon Jr. and Freddie Evans Gordon; and her grandson, Mark Edwin Gordon. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Edna Young; and two brothers, Basil and Burley Quesenberry.

She is survived by her three daughters, Ruby Jane Gordon, of Indian Valley, Va., Connie Sue Quesenberry, of Indian Valley, Va., and Loretta Lynn Phillips, of Christiansburg, Va.; grandchildren, Alisa Knapp, of Indian Valley, Va., Jennifer and Dale Smith, of Christiansburg, Va., Jason and April Phillips, of Christiansburg, Va., and Jody Mills, of Blacksburg, Va.; great-grandchildren, Cody Smith, Cory Knapp, Austin and Riley Mills, Chloe and Ethan Phillips; sister-in-law, Fugie Quesenberry, of Roanoke, Va.; two special friends, Gary Linkous "Gomer" and Bo Hylton; and special niece, Lisa Epperly "Green Cakes."
