Russell Quesenberry, 84, of Willis, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2005. He was an Army veteran of WW II. Russell retired after over 21 year of service as a Floyd County School Bus Driver and Housekeeper at Skyline Manor Nursing Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Ellen Cox Quesenberry, daughter, Judy Mae Crawford, parents, Jonah and Cora Ousley Quesenberry, son-in-law, Timothy Thurman, three brothers, Ernest Quesenberry, Cassell Quesenberry and Isaiah Quesenberry, two sisters-in-law, Delois Quesenberry and Sylvia Quesenberry; survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Dolores Quesenberry, Willis, Va., Steve and Kay Quesenberry, Dublin, Va.; one son-in-law, Jerry Crawford, Christiansburg, Va.; 13 grandchildren children; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Mattie Quesenberry, Danville; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and David Stilwell, Willis, Va.; sisters-in-law and spouse, Alma Quesenberry, Radford, Blanche Quesenberry, Indian Valley, Esther Cox, Radford, Lettie Dickerson, Radford, Madeline and Guy Hogan, Madison Heights; brother-in-law, Victor Cox, Radford; many nieces & nephews.

INDIAN VALLEY - Isaiah Walter Quesenberry, 78, went to be with the Lord on Friday April 12, 2002. Born December 4, 1923, he was a veteran of World War II and served his country overseas, and was a lifetime member of Hillsville, V.F.W. Post #1115.

He was the son of the late Jonah and Cora Quesenberry.

Isaiah and his wife, Blanche, served the Indian Valley community operating Quesenberry's Texaco from May 1957 to May 1987. He was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Quesenberry.

His surviving family includes: his devoted wife of 56 years, Blanche Boyd Quesenberry; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Shelby Quesenberry, Donnie and Sarah Quesenberry, Indian Valley, Toney and Sue Quesenberry, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Al Sanders, Indian Valley, Kathy and Steve Wright, Christiansburg; grandchildren, Angela, Michael, John, Cherie and Jill Quesenberry, Anthony Tester and wife Karen, Chad Quesenbery and wife Kimberly, Amie Maxwell and husband Bobby, Josh Manning, Rhonda, Ashely and Matthew Wright; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Russell Quesenberry, Willis, Chester Quesenberry, Danville; sister, Dorthy Stilwell, Willis,; special friends, Doug, Shirley and David Phillips, Indian Valley, Trish Neubauer, Baltimore, Maryland.

Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Reverend John Lenasters and Reverend Elmon Thompson officiating.

Burial followed in Captain George Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115.
