Glendale -- George Y. Valenzuela, 63, a farm worker, died Wed., June 5, 1974, in a local hospital. He was born in Bisbee. Wife, Isabel; sons, Rosario, Frank, Manuel, Arnold and Garald; sisters, Juanita and Lula Cota; and 13 grandchildren. Rosary was in Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial in Glendale Memorial Park. 6/6/1974.

VALENZUELA, Nicolas V.

Guadalupe -- Nicolas V. Valenzuela, 48, a farm worker who was born in Arizona, died Sat., July 13, 1974, in Tempe Community Hospital. Daughter, Mary Lou Valenzuela; sister, Maria Alvarez; and brothers, jose, Bandacio, Juan and Guierllermo. Rosary in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial in Guadlaupe Cemetery. 7/19/74.

Van NUYS, Harry V.

Sun City -- Harry V. Van Nuys, 91, a graduate of South Dakota State College, died Tuesday, July 9, 1974, in the Phoenix Medi Center. He came to Youngtown in 1952 from Brea, California, and had lived in Sun City since 1961. He was a member of the United Church choir. Son, Donald; sister, Mrs. Maybelle Jones. Services in the United Church, Sun City Blvd. at 107th Ave. Burial in Glendale Resthaven Park. 7/10/1974.

VAN SLAMBROOK, Agnes M Brutsche

Sun City -- Agnes M. Brutsche Van Slambrook, 73, died Wed., July 17, 1974, in Maryvale Hospital following an auto accident. She was a former member of the Sweet Adelines, Inc., in Phoenix and Sun City Women's Club. CHildren, Mrs. Barbara DeYoung and Earl J. Brutsche, Jr.; two sisters; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Burial in Battle Creek, Michigan. 7/19/1974.

VanHOUTEN, Helen M.

Sun City -- Helen M. VanHouten, 100, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 1974, in her home at 10202 Burns Drive. Survivors include her son, F. Kenneth VanHouten. Services and burial were in Irvington, N.J. Lundberg Golden Door Chapel handled arrangements. 10/25/1974.

VEDETTE, Helen

Mesa -- Services for Helen A Vedette, 73, were in Gibbons Bunker Mortuary, 33 N. Sirrine. Burial in Mesa Cemetery. Mrs. Vedette of 1365 S. Country Club Drive, who was born in Delphi, Indiana, died Tuesday, July 2, 1974, in a Mesa hospital. Survivors include children, Wyona Jane and Lynn Vedette; and four grandchildren. VEIDMARK, William Paul

William Paul Veidmark, 24, was fatally injured Sunday, June 2, 1974, in a Lake Pleasant boating accident. He was general manager two years for Specialized Services Co in Phoenix and a student at Glendale Community College until 1972. Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvid L. Veidmark; brothers, Arvid, Jr., and Peter; a sister, Cathryn V. Riggs; and grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Nicholas. Grimshaw Bethany Chapel. Services in Trinity Bible Church.
