Fred Uhrich, 73, of 1550 W. Lewis, a retired machinist, died Friday, June 7, 1974, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix. Wife, Gladys; a son, Fred L.; a daughter, Mrs. Gloria A. Griffiths; his mother, Mrs. Christine Uhrich; a brother and two sisters out of state and eight grandchildren. Mercer Mortuary. Cremation. 6/9/1974.

UNANGST, Bette E.

Bette E. Unangst, 56, a native of Arizona, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1976, in a local hospital. She lived at 1837 E. Brill. Husband, James; a sister and a brother. 1/11/1976.

Mesa -- Russell K. Underwood, 26, died Monday, June 10, 1974, in Mesa Lutheran Hospital. He was a bookkeeper for Mobile Home Life Co. in Chandler. Mrs. Mary B. Unger, 70, of 728 E. Adams, died Tuesday, June 18, 1974, at the Medi Center of America. She came to Phoenix from Hungary in 1919. Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Rose Folnagy. Private cremation. 6/25/1974.

URBAN, Robert J.

Avondale -- Robert J. Urban, 56, an aircraft mechanic 22 years for the Litchfield Naval Air Facility, died Wed., July 17, 1974, in St. Luke's Hospital. He was an Air Corps veteran of World War II and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and was a member of American Legion Post 61. Wife, Dorothy; children, Larry, Gayle Brown and Mrs. Donna Moore; his mother, Mrs. Alma Urban; brothers, Charles, Louis, Donald, Richard and Thomas; sisters, Mrs. Bettye Thornton and Mrs. Alice Skarda; and two grandchildren.
