NATURMAN, Isaac

Services will be held in New York City for Isaac Naturman, 79, who died Thursday, December 31, 1959, in Phoenix. Mr. Naturman resided at 1310 N. Third St. He was employed as a meat cutter and had lived in Phoenix three years. He was a native of Russia. Grimshaw Mortuary is making arrangements to send the body to New York. Survivors include three sons, Abraham of Phoenix and John and Hyman of New York; a daughter, Mrs. Max (Dorothy) Davis of New York; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. NEESE, Daniel R.

Yuma -- Funeral services for Daniel R. Neese, 84, who died January 21, 1960, in a Yuma nursing home were conducted in the Johnson Mortuary. Mr. Neese was born near Nashville, Tennessee. He was a retired blacksmith, having worked for many years with the U. S. Indian Service in the Coolidge area. He came to Yuma 15 months ago to make his home with a son, Phillip. Other survivors include three grandchildren, all in Yuma. AZ Republic 22 January 1960.

NEFF, Joseph L.

Funeral services for Joseph L. Neff, 90, who died Sunday in Tucson, will be in the First Presbyterian Church here. Mr. Neff, born in Pennsylvania, had lived in the Casa Grande area 35 years. He was a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Helen GLOVER, Torrington, Wyoming; a brother, Chester, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. 21 January 1960.

NICHOLS, Edna W.

Prescott -- Funeral serivces for Mrs. Edna W. Nichols, 73, who died in a Prescott hospital Friday, January 15, 1960, were at the Hampton Funeral Home. Mrs. Nichols was born in Cottonwood and lived in Arizona all her life. She was a school teacher for 35 years and had a lifetime teaching certificate from Arizona State College in Flagstaff. Survivors include her husband, Arthur, McGuireville; two sons, W. A. Nichols, Cleator, and Jack Alexander, El Cajon, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Bradford, McGuireville, and Mrs. Madge Charlebois, Blythe, Calif.; a brother, Lewis A. Willard, Cleator; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial in the Cottonwood Cemetery.

NICHOLS, Daniel W.

Daniel W. NIchols, 7248 Canyon Way, died in John C. Lincoln Hospital yesterday, Jan. 9, 1960. Mr. Nichols, who was 67, was born in Texas and came to Arizona 14 years ago from Fort Worth. He had been in the furniture and gardening businesses. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Scottsdale. Services were conducted by the Rev. Vertus Crutchfield at Mercer Mortuary. Burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Hester; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Helm of Phoenix; a son, Richard of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Artie Davis of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren. 10 Jan 1960.
