OK This is weird!!
This same couple with the same stone was found Jan
2022 in the Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery! As no other survey
found this stone in this the Mills-Wimmer-Beckner
Cemetery, this compiler believes the are buried in the Copper Hill COB
Cemetery. Sorry Winnie, I apologize if I’m wrong.

Gladys
Ruth Meador Lumbo, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September
24, 2007. Gladys was born in Roanoke, Va. on March 30, 1919. She is
survived by her son, Gerald Chapman of Chiang Mai, Thailand; her
daughters, Betty Beckner Wilson of Roanoke, Lynda Chapman Bloch of
Richmond, Jacqueline Lumbo Wolfe of North Palm Beach, Fla. and the
twinkle of her eye, her granddaughter, Lynda Elizabeth Ann (Lea) Wolfe,
also of North Palm Beach, Fla. Also surviving are her brothers, Cecil
Meador of Ypsilanti, Mich., Oscar Meador of Montvale, Ernest Meador of
Roanoke, and Ralph Meador of Roanoke; and her sisters, Ruby Meador of
Roanoke, Edith Meador of Boones Mill, Hazel Young of Springfield, and
Geraldine Glinski of Tarpon Springs, Fla. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Anastacio Lumbo; and her son, Richard Beckner. Mass of
Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lexington at
11 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2007. Graveside services will follow
at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery in Lexington. Gladys attended Andrew Lewis
High School and graduated from Jefferson School of Commerce. Gladys was a
kind and generous woman to all she met, with a warm heart and an iron
will. She will be greatly mourned by her loving family and friends. An
avid gardener, lover of nature, and faithful companion to her Airedale,
Theodore, her gallant and sweet spirit shall remain an inspiration to all
who knew her. Arrangements by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory,
Lexington, Va.

Wimmer Manning, 84, of Floyd, formerly of Copper Hill, departed her
earthly home to go to her heavenly home on Monday, June 20, 2005. She was
a long time member of the Copper Hill Church of the Brethren. She was
born September 7, 1920, the daughter of Daniel Moses and Cammie DeWeese
Wimmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver W. Manning; her
sons, Benny L. Manning, Terry L. Manning and David Manning; her stepsons,
Herbert W. Manning, Cleveland Manning, Melvin H. Manning; stepdaughters,
Cammie Manning and Bondeen Barger. Also preceded in death by her sister,
Mamie W. Cox and her brother, Rev. Frank H. Wimmer. Surviving to cherish
her memory are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine M. and Junior
Sowers, Floyd and Linda M. and Tom Iddings, Riner; her sons and
daughters-in-law, Oliver W. Manning Jr., Salem, Paul Manning, Bobby and
Carmen Manning, Larry and Rhonda Manning, all of Copper Hill, Rocky and
Celeste Manning, Summerfield, N.C., Henry Manning, Floyd and Michael
Manning, Radford; her daughter-in-law, Karen M. Jenkins; her stepson,
Calvin C. (Jim) Manning of Roanoke. Sixteen grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Hazel W. Wickham, Salem, Dorothy W.
Tuck, Roanoke, Virgie W. Aldridge, Salem; her brother and sister-in-law,
Jackson L. (Jack) and Evelyn Wimmer, Roanoke; numerous nieces and nephews
and her church family. She treasured her family and everyone that knew
her was truly blessed by her love. The family will receive friends
Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd. A service to
celebrate her life will be held at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren on
Wednesday June 22, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Dale Bowman and the
Rev. Maurice Wright officiating. Interment service will be held at the
Wimmer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Copper
Hill Church of the Brethren Building Fund. "Her children rise up and
call her blessed."
