4-30-1996. DeWEESE, Woodrow Clynton, 79, of Bent Mountain passed away Tuesday April 30, 1996 in a local hospital. He was retired from VDOT and a member of Copper Hill Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife, Mary Maebelle DeWeese, Bent Mountain; daughter and son-in-law, Robert L. and Phyllis D. Joh nson, Beckley, W.Va.; four brothers, Layman H., Virgil T., Arving H., and John H. DeWeese; three sisters, Violet D. Craighead, Lois D. Rock and Josephine Barksdale; special niece, Maria Faye Nichols. Mr. DeWeese was preceded in death by his parents, Trigg Preston and Laura B. DeWeese. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dale Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
