Everlina Sardinea Toussant
Funeral services for Everlina Sardinea Toussant, 86, of Houston will
be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998 at Mother Zion Baptist
Church in Bay City, Rev. K. J. Griggs officiating. Burial will follow at
Burial Association Cemetery in Van Vleck. Visitation will be Friday
until 9 p. m. in the chapel of Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home, and Saturday
from 10 until 11 a. m. at the church.
Toussant was born in Allenhurst, TX, Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1912 to John
Sardinea and Martha McCall Sardinea. She died Monday, Aug. 31 at her
residence in Houston.
Toussant is survived by her sister, Delphina Brown of Houston;
brother, Carlo Sardinea, Sr. of Houston; three grandchildren; four great
grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Erma Lee
Sardinea and Carrie Burnett of Cedar Lane; a host of nieces and nephews;
other relatives; and a family of friends. Toussant was preceded in death
by her parents; husband, Ernest Toussant; son, LeeAndrew Rugeley;
sisters, Lonnie Stephens and Sarah Allen; brothers, Amelia Sardinea,
Levo Sardinea, William Miller, Charlie Williams, and Rouge Burnett.
Pallbearers will be Reginald Evans, Lonnie Sardinea, Jr., Kenneth
Fields, Barrett Sardinea, Cedo Sardinea, III, and Johnny Campbell, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Sardinea, Jr., Cedo Sardinea,
Jr., Amelio Sardinea, Jr., Nelson Sardinea, Herbert Stanford, Lawrence
Burnett, Michael Fields, and Jerome Stanford.

She was born in Bay City, Texas,
November 20, 1955, to Victor Wiggins
and Nettie Lee Lewis Wiggins, and
passed away June 27, 2009, in
Killeen, Texas.
Survivors include: two sons,
Chauncey and Corey; four sisters,
Lillie Lee Wiggins, Vivian Ann
Blanks, Lethitia Lewis and Lottie
Carter; one brother, Victor Wiggins,
Jr., and two grandchildren, all of

Jermany Deshonda Williams was born to James Bonner and Katina
Abbott in Bay City, Texas on June 15, 1993.
He attended public schools in Bay City and graduated from Bay
City High School in 2011. Jermany had a special love for horses
and playing football. He played Semi-Pro football with Bay City
Broncos and the Victoria Texans. He also loved playing dress-up
like a Jazz Star.
Jermany is survived by his dad, James Bonner; mother, Katina
Abbott; step-father, Herbert Durgan; children, Kelise Abbott and
Jermane Williams, Jr.; two brothers, James Andrews and Herbert
Durgan, Jr.; six sisters, JaKedra Andrews, Jamesha Bonner,
Tineshia Abbott, Alquinta Williams, Alma Williams, and Tiffany
Abbott; Grandmother, Costella Bonner; Godson, Romeo Williams;
nieces and nephews, Alexus Abbott, Kay’lee Williams, Charles
Williams, Lei’Aija Brinkley, Ricky Abbott, and Devonta Fields;
God-parents, Jerry and Danyal Manning; God-Brother, Jerry
Manning, Jr.; God-Sister, Paige Manning; and a host of other
relatives and friends who will miss him tremendously.

Funeral services for Elvira Davis Woodard, 64, of Bay City, will be held
at 12 noon, Thursday, November 30, 2000, at Church of God of Prophecy in

Van Vleck.

She was born in Van Vleck, Saturday, November 30, 1935, to Walter Davis
and Willie King Davis, and passed away Saturday, November 25, 2000, at
Matagorda General Hospital, Bay City.
Survivors include: her husband, the Rev. Cornelius Woodard; one son,
Larry Davis, Sr., both of Bay City; daughter-in-law, Joyce Davis of Bay
City; four grandchildren, Tyra Collins and Greg, Eric Davis and Larry
Davis, Jr., all of Bay City and Michael Edison of Hobbs, New Mexico; 12
great grandchildren; four sisters, Annie Jackson of Texas City, Wilma
Jean and Debra of Sweeny, and Betty Jean of West Columbia; three
brothers, Andrew Jackson of Bay City, Otis Jackson and Walter Jackson of
Texas City; mother-in-law, Sophie Franklin of Cedar Lake, four aunts,
Princella Jones of Houston, Jeanette Alliniece and Carrie Davis of Bay
City, and Derotha Jones of Van Vleck; four foster sisters, Kathy Mack,
Eva Thompson, Juanita Young and Tammy Gray; a host of church family,
relatives and friends.
