Adam Carl Miller, 80, of Scottsdale, died May 16, 2006. He was born July 19, 1925 in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania to Adam K. and Pearl Miller. He was founder and owner of his own water treatment business, Adept Water Treatment Co. in Phoenix for 28 years. He was also known for his invention of the reflective safety triangles whose use Congress mandated for all trucking firms. Survived by three daughters, Jeannie Lewis of Palm Springs, California, Cheryl Kindred of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Cathy Leth of Salmon, Idaho; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Carolyn Alzora Benton Miller passed away Friday, June 9, 2006, in Phoenix. Born April 17th, 1930 in Denver, Colorado to Thomas Harry Benton and Carolyn Curry Benton, Alzora was raised on a cattle ranch in Burns, Colorado near Glenwood Springs. She met Cecil H. Miller, Jr. at the University of Arizona, and they were married in 1950. They raised four children; Deborah (Ted) Sheely, Cecily (Scott) Buell, Ellen Luckey and Matt (Kim) Miller. In addition to Cecil and her children, Alzora is survived by her sister Ellen (Earl) Warner, brother-in-law Duane(Beverly) Miller and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Benton and one grandson. Services were in the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 North Litchfield Rd. 6/14/2006.

Originally from West Virginia, Dave and his wife Bonnie helped organize two Church of Christ congregations before moving to Arizona in 1954. Bonnie died in 1992 after 56 years of marriage. Jack Bennett Miller, 78, of Tempe, AZ passed away April 15, 2006. He was born to Marjorie and Larry Miller. Bennett grew up in Tempe and graduated from Tempe High School in 1945. He went into the Navy in June of 1945 at the end of WWII. He returned from the Navy and went to ASU where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology. Jack graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 with a degree in Religious Studies. He was ordaiined into the Roman Catholic Deaconate on December 29, 1984 and served as a Deacon at Holy Spirit, St. Thomas Byzantine, and St. Mary's. Margaret Mary Miller was born on September 9, 1917 to Joseph and Martha Miller in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Margaret passed away March 21, 2006. She was their only child. She graduated from South Division High School and then went on to graduate from the Royal Academy of Cosmetology in 1934. On February 22, 1936 she married Peter Joseph Miller and had 2 children. Carol (Dwayne) Dobson and Ronald, a missionary, who has an orphanage in Chiang Rai, Thailand. 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a great, great grandchild. She shared 67 years of marriage with her husband, Peter, who died in February 2001. Marge was a long time member of the Arizona Wool Producer's Auxiliary. Miller, Martha Dixon

Marthagene Hope Suttis was born to William Burton Suttis and Drusilla Hewett (nee Harding) Suttis, in Josephine, PA. Martha was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Martha's father died in 1934, and her mother supported the family by renting the second floor of the family home to boarders. Martha graduated from high school in 1939 and subsequently pursued an artistic career. In the early 1940's Martha served as Scientific and Botanical Illustrator for the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University. While in that position she illustrated "Plant Life of the Pacific World" by Elmer D. Merrill, Harvard University's Administrator of Botanical Collections and Director of the Arnold Arboretum. The book was published in 1945 by The Macmillan Company of New York. Martha married Lajos (Lou) Koteles on July 21, 1945. After Lou's discharge from the U.S. Navy, Martha accompanied him to Providence, RI where Lou studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and Martha worked in a downtown business office. The couple hand-decorated their apartment, and the result was featured in the Providence Sunday Journal's Home Section in April of 1948. They moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where her4:08 PM 1/30/2015 only child was born. In 1953 Martha left her husband and moved to the Phoenix, AZ area. The divorce was finalized in 1955. Martha was married to William "Bill" Dixon for 12 years. She was a juried member of the Arizona Artists Guild. In 1984 Martha married Steven Miller and moved to Chehalis, WA.
