ABBOTT, Maxine

Mass for Maxine Abbott, 64, of 4635 N. 14th St., who died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1976, in Maricopa County Hospital, will be today in the Church of St. Francis Xavier, 4715 N. Central. Camelback Sunset Chapel handled arrangements. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery. The Arizona Republic Thursday, Feb. 12, 1976.

ABENT, Richard

Richard Abent, 64, a salesman for Blue Chip stamps, lived here nine months. He moved here from Anaheim, California. He died June 21, 1978, in the University of California Medical Center in Orange. Wife, Darlene; sons, Michael and Don; daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Betaux; three grandchildren. Published in the Arizona Republic 6/24/1978.

ACEDO, Antonia T.

Antonia T. Acedo, 77, was born in Mexico and died Friday, January 9, 1976, in Memorial Hospital. She came to Douglas 57 years ago and to Phoenix in 1934. Sons, Frank Bermudez and Hector and Oscar Acedo; daughters, Mrs. Sally Daley and Mrs. Elva Enriquez and Josephine Escalante; a sister; 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Youngtown -- Caroline E. Adams, 68, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1976, in Valley View Hospital. She had been a tailor 25 years and a member of Armed Forces Mothers Club in Ohio. Buckeye -- Joe B. Adams, 68, of Buckeye, died April 14, 1978, in a Portland, Oregon, hospital. Mr. Adams, an Arkansas native, moved to BUckeye in 1955. In 1962 he moved to Forest Grove, Oregon, where he lived until his death. Wife, Olie; two daughters, Mrs. Judie May Phiflett and Mrs. Margaret Preddes; seven sons, Charles, William, Bobby, C. ADAMS, Robert E.

Robert E. Adams, 56, of Phoenix, died April 19, 1978, in a Valley hospital. He was retired from the Air Force in 1966 and worked for the Arizona Department of Economic Security. He moved to Arizona in 1954 and was a deacon in Westminster Presbyterian Church and a member of Chapter 20 of the Disabled American Veterans. AKERMAN, Axel

Services for Axel Akerman, 91, a retired tool and die maker, were in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback. Survivors of Mr. Akerman, 2523 W. Hazelwood, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 1976, in Doctors Hospital, include children, Jenny Elven, Doris and Alfred; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Paul J. Alder, 65, died June 28, 1978. He was a Pima native, operated farms in the Wenden area. Wife, Elizabeth; son, Jeff; daughter, Shirley Anger; step-daughters, Mrs. Barbara Brokeck, Betty Reed, Mary Bondon, Sally Stepan; step-sons, Gary Accamazzo and LeRoy Whitson. ALEXANDER, L. M. "Les"

L.M. "Les" Alexander, 70, died June 24, 1978, in his home. Mr. Alexander had been with the Salt River Project since 1954 until retiring in 1973 as associate general manager of power. Troy Alford, 54, a plumber who moved here 36 years ago from Arkansas, died Thursday, March 31, 1977, in his home. Wife, Betty; three sisters and four brothers (unnamed). Arizona Republic 4/2/1977.

ALLARD, Lee W.

Lee W. Allard, 76, of Sun City, died April 25, 1978. He was former president of an abstract land title company, a member of St. Clement's Church, Knights of Columbus, Elks and Men's Club. He moved to Arizona from Wausau, Wisconsin, in 1970. Wife, Elvt; three daughters, Joan Counihan, Pat Shackett and Barbara FInnegan; a son, Dave; two sisters and 30 grandchildren. ALLGOOD, Beulah Frances

Services for Beulah Frances Allgood, 86, who came to Phoenix in 1932 from Texas and was a member of Sunland Baptist Church were at A. L. Moore & Sons Memory Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. James F. Gore. Mrs. Allgood died June 21, 1978, in Payson, where she had lived since 1975. She was the widow of the Rev. Norman Allgood, who died June 3, 1978. She had been married 65 years. Survivors include her children, Roselia Pelham, Hazel Barton, Beulah Freeman, Opal Hansen, Iris Hargrove and Elmer D. Lemley; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. Fred L. Alsdorf, 92, of 1130 E. Monte Vista, died Saturday, April 2, 1977, in St. Luke's Hospital. Survived by sons, Fred M., Chula Vista, Calif., Albert J., Abilene, Tex., Julius R., Phoenix; daughters, Ruth H., Izetta E. Alsdorf, Phoenix, Mary Brockman, Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Interment Green Acres. the Arizona Republic 4/3/1977.
