Nielsine N. Hansen, 80, a longtime resident who farmed with her husband in Tempe, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1976, in her home. She was active in an auxiliary of a Mesa Elks lodge and in the Tempe Old Settlers Association. HIGLEY, Lemmie Stauffer

Lemmie Stauffer Higley, 89, was brought to the Valley by her parents in 1892 and was the sister of the late Charles Stauffer, former owner of the Arizona Republic and Phoenix Gazette. She received her teaching certificate in 1907 from Tempe Normal School, now Arizona State University. Before that she attended Glendale schools where her family were ranchers and farmers. She taught school while her late husband, Tom, served in the Marines in World War I. She moved from Phoenix to Tucson in January 1975. Son, Tom S. Higley; sister, Pearl Knorpp; sister-in-law, Edith Bennett Stauffer: a grandson and two great grandchildren. Greenwood Memorial Park. 1/14/1976 p. C-3.

HITCHCOCK, Glenn A.

Glenn A. Hitchcock, 61, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1976, in Good Samaritan Hospital. He had lived in Arizona since 1935 and was a sales engineer for Goettl Metal Products. Flagstaff -- Services for Lonie M. Holly, 73, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 1976, in Dallas, will be Sunday in Mountain View Baptist Church. Mrs. Holly held degrees in nursing from Baylor and the University of Michigan. She came to Flagstaff in 1937 and was associated with the Coconino County Health Services. Sun City -- Phyllis W. Huffman, 71, a retired clinical psychologist, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1976, in Valley View Hospital. Mrs. Huffman, 13861 Buccaneer Way, was graduated from Northwestern University and University of Chicago. She was a member of the American Psychological Association, UofC Alumnae Association and was an adjunct professor of Northwest University Medical School. Survivors include her husband, Arthur V.
